Grow your own
Sprouting young plants yourself is a simple, convenient and
sensible solution to the otherwise-challenging problem of
obtaining fresh sprouts.
Sprouting is really rather simple - and is not terribly
demanding in terms of time, space, energy or cost.
When I started off I bought trays of spelt grass from a
local juice bar - and fed it into my own juicer.
I shied away from sprouting myself - partly because I was
not sure where to obtain equipment - and partly because I
suspected my own attemps at sprouting would end in
failure.
However once I tried my hand at sprouting grass myself, I
experienced instant success. Sprouting turned out to be
much easier than I had imagined.
Soon I was sprouting every sort of seed I could get my hands
on.
